Senior Accountant / Financial Reporting Analyst
Dynamic opportunity for global firm looking to add a detail-oriented Senior Accountant / Financial Reporting Analyst to support the month-end close, financial reporting, audit activities, and Business Central implementation. This role will be responsible for validating financial data, reviewing revenue and sales activity, ensuring the accuracy of financial statements, supporting audit requests, and partnering with the Senior Analyst, Controller, and business stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and maintain strong financial controls.

Key Responsibilities
Coordinate month-end close inputs and validate key financial data, including revenue and sales.
Audit the final close package for accuracy and completeness, including year-over-year, budget, and forecast comparisons.
Review deferred revenue and other deferred balances to ensure they reconcile to the financial statements and work with business partners to validate outstanding invoice balances.
Oversee the fixed asset subledger, including asset additions, capitalization, and related accounting activity.
Validate revenue recognition for point-of-sale (POS) transactions in accordance with accounting policies.
Track B2B sales and ensure invoices are accurately recorded and revenue is recognized in the appropriate period.
Partner with the Senior Analyst and Controller on additional month-end and year-end close activities as needed.
Validate financial statement balances against supporting documentation and investigate discrepancies.
Review financial statements for accuracy, completeness, and appropriate presentation.
Validate account and financial statement mapping to ensure transactions are properly classified.
Prepare schedules and supporting documentation for Prepared by Client (PBC) audit requests.
Support internal and external audit activities by providing accurate financial documentation and responding to information requests.
Provide ad hoc accounting and financial analysis support to management.
Support ad hoc requests and accounting-related activities associated with the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central implementation.
Identify opportunities to improve close, reporting, reconciliation, and financial control processes
