2. About the Opportunity:

The Security Operations Analyst plays a key role in protecting critical assets by monitoring and responding to security threats. This position contributes to threat detection, intelligence, and response efforts, while collaborating across teams to strengthen security architecture and ensure compliance. The role is essential in maintaining the organization’s security posture against evolving threats.

3. Responsibilities:

  • • Monitor security tools to detect and triage alerts following established procedures.
  • • Utilize and improve automation through SOAR platforms.
  • • Configure and maintain SIEM integrations and develop threat detection capabilities.
  • • Analyze daily threat intelligence to protect against known and emerging threats.
  • • Work with IT to maintain asset inventories and secure endpoints.
  • • Collaborate with various departments to integrate security requirements and influence architecture.
  • • Support generation of security metrics, reports, and compliance audits.

4. Requirements:

  • • Minimum 3 years in Security Operations, including 2 years in SOC, MDR, or Incident Response.
  • • Experience designing and managing SOC processes and automations.
  • • Technical expertise with threat detection, incident response, vulnerability management, SIEM, EDR/XDR, and IAM.
  • • Strong knowledge of security threats, attack methods, and defensive frameworks such as NIST and MITRE ATT&CK.
  • • Excellent communication skills to influence and collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • • Preferred certifications include CISSP, CISM, GCIH, GCIA, or OSCP.
  • • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.

5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:

  • • Tier 1 range: $80,000 - $100,000
  • • Tier 2 range: $70,000 - $90,000
  • • Compensation is based on factors including location, experience, and skillset, with geographic tiers used to ensure competitive and fair pay.
