  • Job Summary
  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Security Analyst to help protect the organization's information systems, networks, and digital assets. The successful candidate will monitor security events, identify potential threats, investigate incidents, assess vulnerabilities, and recommend security improvements to minimize organizational risk.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor security systems, network activity, and security alerts for potential threats.
  • Investigate and respond to security incidents and document findings.
  • Perform vulnerability assessments and support remediation efforts.
  • Analyze security logs and identify suspicious activities.
  • Assist in implementing and maintaining security policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Conduct risk assessments and recommend security enhancements.
  • Support identity and access management activities.
  • Collaborate with IT and business teams to strengthen security posture.
  • Prepare security reports, documentation, and compliance records.
  • Stay current with cybersecurity threats, security technologies, and industry best practices.
  • Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in information security, cybersecurity, IT security, or a related role.
  • Knowledge of network security, operating systems, and security principles.
  • Familiarity with SIEM platforms, firewalls, endpoint protection, and security monitoring tools.
  • Understanding of risk management and security frameworks.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, Microsoft Defender, CrowdStrike, Palo Alto Networks, or similar security technologies.
  • Knowledge of cloud security for AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Familiarity with vulnerability management and incident response processes.
  • Experience with compliance standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, or PCI DSS.
  • Professional certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CySA+, SSCP, CEH, or CISSP are a plus.
