SAP SD MM Analyst

🚀 Sr. Analyst, IT – SAP MM/SD | Chicago | Permanent

• We're looking for a Senior SAP MM/SD Analyst to be the primary functional lead for Materials Management and Sales & Distribution on SAP S/4HANA — in a highly customized, non-standard environment.
• You'll need to be comfortable reading and extending existing customizations, and confident judging when to retain, refactor, or retire custom code.

🔧 What you'll do:

• ✅ Support SAP MM and SD end-to-end, including Purchasing through SAP Ariba, Inventory Management, Invoice Verification, and integration with FICO, AP, LE, and AR
• ✅ Own design, development, and support of reports, interfaces, enhancements, and integrations ✅ Prepare functional and technical design documents, including ABAP development specs
• ✅ Analyze business processes to identify improvements and deliver measurable business value ✅ Direct and validate work from external AMS partners
• ✅ Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams on project delivery

What you bring:

• 7+ years hands-on SAP MM/SD at a senior functional level, with strong technical architecture understanding
• P2P flow, SPRO configuration; hands-on SAP Ariba experience a big plus
• Deep MM (Material Master, PIRs, Source Lists, Business Partner, procurement, RFQ/PR/PO) and SD/LE (order processing, pricing, CMIR, billing, shipping, returns) expertise
• IDOC/EDI monitoring and troubleshooting; ABAP debugging a plus
• Familiarity with SAP FICO integration points (SD-to-billing, MM-to-AP, revenue posting)
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or equivalent experience
