Job Description:

• Strong in SAP FICO (Finance & Controlling)
• Experienced with SAP configuration and solution design
• Able to work directly with business stakeholders and gather requirements
• Comfortable leading project and enhancement work rather than ticket support
• Key emphasis:
• SAP system knowledge is the primary requirement.
• Candidates should have at least 4+ years of SAP finance-related experience.
• Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst backgrounds are acceptable if they possess significant hands-on SAP configuration expertise.
• Pure business/process-focused candidates without strong SAP system skills have not been successful.
• Finance & Controlling Expectations
• Candidates do not need deep expertise in every Controlling area (COPA, product costing, etc.).
• However, they must possess basic Controlling knowledge, including:
• Cost centers
• Profit centers
• Core FI/CO concepts
• Best-fit candidates:
• SAP FICO Consultants
• Financial Systems Analysts with significant SAP configuration experience
• Individuals who began on the finance/business side and later developed SAP configuration and solution design expertise
• Less desirable:
• Candidates with only end-user SAP experience
• Analysts focused primarily on requirements gathering without technical SAP configuration capabilities
