Our client, a leading consumer products organization, is seeking a Salesforce TPM IT Business Analyst to support and enhance Trade Promotion Management and commercial technology platforms.

This is an excellent opportunity for a well-rounded professional who understands both business processes and technology. The ideal candidate may have started their career in Trade Promotions, Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or Commercial Operations before transitioning into a Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, Salesforce Administrator, or Commercial Applications role.

  • What You'll Do
  • Partner with business stakeholders and IT teams to support Salesforce TPM and related commercial applications.
  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, process flows, and functional specifications.
  • Support system enhancements, testing, configuration, reporting, and user adoption efforts.
  • Serve as the bridge between business users and technical teams.
  • Perform data analysis and troubleshooting using SQL and reporting tools.
  • Manage small projects and application enhancements through the full project lifecycle.
  • Drive continuous improvement of trade promotion and sales processes through technology solutions.
  • What We're Looking For
  • 2-5 years of experience in Business Analysis, Business Systems Analysis, Commercial Applications, Salesforce Administration, or a similar role.
  • Experience with Salesforce TPM, Consumer Goods Cloud, Salesforce CRM, Salesforce CPQ, or comparable Trade Promotion Management platforms.
  • Strong understanding of trade promotions, customer planning, pricing, deductions, rebates, sales operations, or revenue operations within a CPG environment.
  • Salesforce power-user, super-user, or administrator experience.
  • Basic SQL skills for data analysis and validation.
  • Understanding of Agile and/or Waterfall project methodologies.
  • Ability to independently manage tasks and smaller projects from requirements through delivery.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across both business and technical teams.
  • Ideal Background
  • We're especially interested in candidates who have successfully moved from the business side into technology, such as:
  • Trade Promotions Analyst turned Salesforce/TPM super-user.
  • Sales Ops or Rev Ops professional who transitioned into Business Systems or IT.
  • Salesforce CRM, CPQ, or TPM administrator with strong business process expertise.

This role is ideal for someone who understands how trade promotions work in practice and has the technical aptitude to help deliver and support the systems that enable them.
