- This is an on-site position based in a metropolitan location within India.
- Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and develop a sales team within the assigned territory, providing mentorship and guidance to drive performance
- Set clear individual and team sales targets and ensure consistent achievement or exceeding of goals
- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics; analyze sales data to identify growth opportunities and improve productivity
- Coach and support team members to enhance product knowledge, selling skills, and customer engagement
- Assist team members in resolving customer queries and handling escalations when necessary
- Plan and execute sales initiatives, campaigns, and events to boost overall sales performance
- Collaborate with senior sales leadership to implement regional and national sales strategies
- Continuously evaluate market dynamics and adapt plans to meet evolving business needs
- Required Qualifications
- Education
- MBA or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
- Experience & Skills
- Minimum 2+ years of sales experience in a fast-paced consumer-focused industry
- At least 1 year of experience managing or leading a team
- Strong understanding of sales processes and market dynamics
- Proven ability to drive results and meet sales targets
- Excellent people management and team development capabilities
- Strong customer relationship management skills
- Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region (up to 75%)
- Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working within a similar regional market
- Exposure to consumer goods or high-volume sales environments
