Risk Analyst

- Job Overview
- We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Risk Analyst to support the identification, assessment, monitoring, and management of business and operational risks. The successful candidate will analyze data, prepare risk reports, monitor key risk indicators, and work with internal teams to help strengthen risk management processes.
- Key Responsibilities
- Identify and assess potential business, operational, financial, and compliance risks.
- Analyze risk data, trends, and performance indicators.
- Monitor key risk indicators (KRIs) and risk exposure.
- Prepare risk reports, dashboards, and presentations for management.
- Assist with risk assessments and internal control reviews.
- Track identified risks, mitigation plans, and corrective actions.
- Conduct research on market, industry, and regulatory developments.
- Support the development and maintenance of risk management policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with finance, compliance, operations, security, and other internal teams.
- Assist with scenario analysis, risk modeling, and impact assessments.
- Identify emerging risks and communicate potential business impacts.
- Maintain accurate risk registers, documentation, and supporting records.
- Support internal audits, compliance reviews, and risk-related projects as required.
- Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Risk Management, Accounting, Statistics, or a related field preferred.
- 0–3 years of experience in risk analysis, finance, compliance, audit, business analysis, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of basic risk management concepts.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to analyze data and present findings clearly.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with risk management frameworks and internal controls.
- Experience with data analysis, reporting, or dashboard development.
- Knowledge of financial, operational, cybersecurity, or compliance risk is a plus.
- Familiarity with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or other analytical tools.
- Professional certifications such as FRM, PRM, or related credentials are a plus.
- Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
