  • Role Description The Research Scientist / Data Quality Analyst role is a part-time remote position responsible for supporting regulatory research and ensuring the accuracy and consistency of pharmaceutical and healthcare-related data. Daily tasks include collecting, organizing, and reviewing datasets from multiple sources, performing data validation checks, and documenting data quality issues and resolutions. The role involves designing and executing research methodologies, summarizing findings, and preparing clear reports and presentations for internal stakeholders and regulatory partners. The position also includes collaborating with cross-functional teams, contributing to process improvements, and maintaining detailed records that align with regulatory standards and internal quality policies.
  • Qualifications
  • Strong analytical and research skills, including experience with data collection, literature review, and interpretation of scientific and regulatory information.
  • Proficiency in data quality assessment, data validation, and documentation of discrepancies within structured and unstructured datasets.
  • Competence with data analysis tools or software (e.g., spreadsheets, statistical packages, or database tools) and ability to present data clearly in reports or visual formats.
  • Knowledge of regulatory principles or healthcare/pharmaceutical standards, with attention to detail and adherence to compliance and data governance requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce concise summaries, structured documentation, and collaborative communication with remote teams.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage part-time workload, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field such as life sciences, pharmacy, public health, data science, or a related discipline; advanced training or certifications in data quality, research methods, or regulatory affairs are an advantage.
  • Experience in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or regulatory research is beneficial, as is familiarity with quality management systems and continuous improvement practices.
