  • Alpine Macro is seeking a Research Analyst to join our growing team in Montreal. The Analyst will assist in the research, development, and production of Alpine Macro's global investment research.
  • Responsibilities and Duties
  • • Conduct in-depth economic and investment research and analysis.
  • • Collaborate with the research team on idea generation.
  • • Provide creative and strategic input into publication content.
  • • Keep abreast of market and industry news.
  • • Analyze and manage financial data.
  • • Research and produce charts.
  • • Work closely with layout & design team in publishing process.
  • • Assist in proofreading publication prior to release.
  • • Monitor key developments in assigned markets.
  • • Assist in the development and maintenance of chart databases.
  • • Assist with special projects and other initiatives, as required.
  • Qualifications and Skills
  • • Preferably 3-5 years relevant experience in the financial services industry.
  • • Bachelors or Masters degree in Economics, Finance. CFA is an asset.
  • • Superior quantitative and analytical skills
  • • Strong attention to detail.
  • • Self-motivated, organized, and strong team player.
  • • Proficiency in financial applications for data analysis
  • (e.g., Bloomberg, DataStream, eViews, Macrobond).
