Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Validate ETL/ELT data pipelines across Bronze (Raw), Silver (Cleansed), and Gold (Curated) Medallion architectures.
Perform source-to-target mapping, data quality checks, and complex business logic validation on Medicaid/MMIS datasets.
Write advanced, multi-table SQL queries and Python scripts for automated data reconciliation, null checks, and referential integrity testing.
Collaborate with data engineers and business analysts to develop comprehensive test plans and lead defect triage.
Leverage AI tools such as GitHub Copilot for test-case generation and SQL development (90%+ weekly usage required).
Key Requirements:
Strong proficiency in SQL and modern database platforms such as Snowflake, Oracle, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL.
Strong Python scripting skills for data validation and test automation.
Hands-on experience with Medicaid/MMIS data migrations or healthcare datasets.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.
