• Role Description
• This position performs a variety of accounting tasks and analyses required to maintain NAICO’s reinsurance systems. Responsibilities include:

• Perform accounting tasks and analyses required to maintain reinsurance systems
• Conduct data analysis and information processing using SQL reporting tools
• Analyze facultative reinsurance programs
• Prepare miscellaneous data requests for various states
• Assist in the preparation of actuarial triangles as required by management
• Assist in preparing documentation for annual reinsurance contract renewals
• Prepare quarterly and annual reporting exhibits for joint venture partners
• Process and review excess loss billings
• Perform and assist with reinsurance system maintenance
• Complete special projects as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of one year of accounting experience or completion of at least one accounting internship with professional references
• Experience with data modeling preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required
• Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams on large-scale projects
• Ability to prioritize tasks and perform effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
