  • • Work experience with a corporation in a capital-intensive industry preferred.
  • Expert in excel- pivot tables, etc.

Job Description

  • Insight Global is seeking a Regulatory Analyst to support one of our top utility clients. The pay rate is between $30-40/hr and the work authorization is not specified. Provide direct support to the CFO office to achieve organizational goals for the regulatory, rates, finance
  • and accounting departments. This position will support cross-functional initiatives ensuring positive
  • outcomes through complex strategy development and implementation.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • • Assist with the coordination and management of financial & operational model development
  • • Develop & maintain revenue requirement models
  • • Provide analysis of complex financial matters supporting cooperative financial decisions
  • • Support rate filings with the State Corporation Commission through analysis & review of key
  • documentation
  • • Analyze revenue & cost of service requirements to ensure proper recovery through rates to
  • promote continued growth & management of REC electric system
  • • Prepare & review Board level presentations
  • • Provide support in FERC, Operating Service Agreements (OSA’s) and Financial Compliance
  • • Conduct financial analysis of projects to inform management of rate impacts to Member owners
  • • Utilize data analysis to identify efficiencies and cost savings opportunities for the cooperative
  • • Other duties as assigned to support organization initiatives
  • • Communicate results and advise best path forward on all financial matters
