  • Role Description The Real Estate Analyst is a full-time, on-site or remote role based in Lafayette, IN. This position is responsible for supporting the evaluation and execution of multifamily development opportunities, including conducting market research, performing financial analyses, conducting budgeting a proforma development, and preparing/responding to RFPs. Day-to-day tasks include underwriting potential new projects, assisting with due diligence and feasibility studies, working directly with the development team to bring projects from concepts to reality. The analyst will also help compile data for internal reports, maintain databases and models for existing and prospective projects, and collaborate with development, finance, and operations teams to inform investment decisions and project strategy.
  • Qualifications
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret market data, financial models, and project metrics.
  • Experience with due diligence activities such as reviewing property record documents, market studies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Knowledge of finance and investments, including cash flow modeling, ROI/IRR analysis, and capital structures.
  • Familiarity with real estate appraisal concepts and valuation methods for multifamily properties.
  • Proficiency in Excel and other relevant software for financial modeling and data analysis.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
  • Detail-oriented mindset, ability to manage multiple projects, and commitment to collaborative, team-based work.
