Job Summary
We are looking for a Functional Testing Analyst to test a new customer management platform and its integrations. You will be responsible for creating test cases, executing manual and automated tests, identifying defects, and working with developers to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze business and system requirements.
Create detailed test cases and test plans.
Perform manual and automated testing.
Identify, log, track, and validate software defects.
Work with development teams to resolve issues.
Prepare and maintain test documentation and reports.
Support test environment and test data setup.
Ensure compliance with security and quality standards.
Contribute to improving testing processes and best practices.
Required Skills
Experience in manual and automated software testing.
Strong knowledge of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
Experience creating test cases, test plans, and defect reports.
Hands-on experience with automation tools like Selenium, JUnit, or similar.
Experience using defect tracking and test management tools.
Ability to analyze requirements and design test scenarios.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in Agile development environments.
Knowledge of security and regulatory compliance testing.
Experience testing enterprise applications or customer management systems is a plus.
Utility or energy industry experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Ideal Candidate
3-7+ years of software testing experience.
Strong background in both manual and automation testing.
Detail-oriented with excellent analytical skills.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
