Rates Analyst

• Legal Rates Analyst - Hybrid
• Remote on Monday and Friday

The Legal Rates Analyst will support the management, setup, and ongoing administration of client and matter billing rates across the organization. This position works closely with Pricing, Rates, Billing, practice support teams, and other internal stakeholders to ensure billing rates and pricing arrangements are implemented accurately within Aderant Expert.

• Key Responsibilities
• Maintain and administer client and matter rate information within Aderant Expert.
• Set up and update client-specific and matter-specific billing rates within Aderant.
• Implement negotiated and special fee arrangements, including rate schedules, individual timekeeper rates, and combinations of different rate structures.
• Review rate information for accuracy and consistency before and after implementation.
• Research and resolve rate-related discrepancies or requests involving client and matter billing.
• Partner with Pricing, Rates, Billing, and practice support teams on rate changes and ongoing maintenance.

• Required Skills & Qualifications
• Experience working with Aderant Expert, preferably involving client, matter, billing, or rate administration.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to work with detailed financial and billing data.
• Excellent attention to detail with a strong focus on data accuracy.
• Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to manage responsibilities independently.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an interest in learning new processes.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders in a professional environment.
