An established financial services organization is seeking a Quantitative Analyst in Charlotte, NC. This hybrid role focuses on designing and executing automated testing for front office trading and financial applications.
About the Opportunity:
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Hours: Standard business
Setting: Hybrid (hybrid, 2-3 days in office)
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain automated test cases for front office systems, including trading platforms, order management systems, and market data feeds.
Collaborate with front office users, developers, and QA teams to understand requirements and testing priorities.
Perform functional, regression, and integration testing to support application stability and accuracy.
Analyze test results, identify defects, and partner with development teams to resolve issues.
Document test plans, test data, and test results while ensuring coverage aligns with business processes and compliance requirements.
Qualifications:
Experience in capital markets fixed income, including swaps and derivatives trading systems.
Strong Python development skills.
Experience designing and executing automated test scripts for financial or trading applications.
Experience with test automation tools or frameworks such as Selenium or TestNG.
Strong understanding of trading workflows, financial instruments, and market data systems.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Desired Skills:
Experience with Java or JavaScript.
Familiarity with Agile development and continuous integration tools.
Exposure to front office applications, including trading platforms or market data feeds.
