We are seeking a detail-oriented MICR Tester to support banking operations by validating check documents for compliance with MICR (Magnetic Ink Character Recognition) standards. This is an onsite role working with specialized scanning and testing equipment.
Responsibilities:
Perform MICR validation testing on check documents
Verify print quality, formatting, character alignment, and magnetic readability
Analyze test results and document pass/fail findings
Prepare testing reports and maintain accurate records
Collaborate with internal operations and business teams
Required Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Testing, Banking Operations, or Document Processing
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Experience with Microsoft Excel and Outlook
Ability to follow structured testing procedures and document results
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of MICR standards and check processing
Experience with check imaging, scanning, or payment processing systems
Prior banking operations experience
