QA UI/UX User Experience Analyst - Entry Level ( San Diego Only )

• You’ll partner closely with our QA Automation team, lead outsourced testers, and stay hands-on with manual testing. Most importantly, you’ll be the person who owns the quality process—catching what automated systems miss and ensuring that our standards don’t slip, even under pressure.
• Whova revolutionizes event engagement and attendee networking by providing the Whova event management software and services to support events, conferences, and expos globally every day. What You'll Do:

• Create, find, and implement processes for manual testing.
• Manage outsourced testers: assign tasks, review deliverables, and keep timelines tight.
• Create and maintain testing acceptance criteria and scenarios for our applications.
• Collect testing needs from our project teams, and determine priorities that are consistent with business goals and objectives.
• Track and document bugs and issues clearly for developers.
• Validate features and fixes before they ship.
• Maintain internal documentation for system behavior and processes.
• Proactively identify quality risks and gaps before they become problems.

What We Expect:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Cognitive Science, HCI, Computer Science, or related fields.
• Demonstrated experience in QA and user-facing application testing.
• Familiarity with software development life cycles and testing methodologies
• Organized, structured, and efficient—especially under pressure.
• Experience with issue/bug/defect tracking tools
• Experience in written requirements and use cases
• Ability to work effectively in an agile development environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
