About The Role

The Quality Assurance & Process Analyst at WBL plays a pivotal role in optimizing our operational workflows and ensuring the highest standards of quality in our software and business processes. This contract/consultant position requires a detail-oriented professional who can bridge the gap between quality assurance, business requirements analysis, and process improvement initiatives. The analyst will be responsible for evaluating current procedures, identifying inefficiencies, and recommending automation and process redesign strategies to enhance overall organizational performance. Working hours are typically from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm Eastern Standard Time, Monday through Friday. Candidates must possess excellent English language skills, both spoken and written, and submit their CVs in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in quality assurance, testing, business analysis, or process improvement
• Proven experience in software testing, requirements analysis, or business process analysis
• Experience working within cross-functional teams involving multiple stakeholders
• Familiarity with Agile or iterative development methodologies
• Proficiency with automated testing tools and frameworks
• Strong analytical and documentation skills
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken

Responsibilities

• Translate business needs into clear, testable requirements and acceptance criteria
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure software quality
• Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution
• Collaborate with development, business, and operations teams to streamline processes and eliminate inefficiencies
• Assess current workflows and identify opportunities for automation and process improvements
• Support ongoing process analysis and documentation efforts, including process mapping and gap analysis
• Participate in requirement reviews, design discussions, and project planning sessions
• Monitor key quality metrics such as defect detection rate, defect escape rate, and test coverage
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of quality assurance practices and procedures
• Ensure compliance with organizational standards and industry best practices
