About The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software applications through rigorous testing and validation processes. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, UX designers, project managers, and automation engineers, to deliver high-quality digital solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of QA methodologies, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate complex technical issues effectively. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative projects within a collaborative environment, supporting the continuous improvement of our QA processes and standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of hands-on QA experience in testing software applications.
  • Experience testing across multiple platforms, including web, mobile web, and native mobile applications.
  • Knowledge of QA methodologies, testing techniques, and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Familiarity with cross-browser testing tools, web service validation, and log inspection methods.
  • Nice to have: ISTQB or equivalent QA certification.
  • Experience with object-oriented programming languages (e.g., Java, C#) or scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Ruby).
  • Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems such as Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or Sitecore.
  • Proficiency in database queries, database testing, and API/web service testing.
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and accessibility testing tools.
  • Exposure to automated testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium WebDriver, Appium).
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., Amazon Web Services) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins).
  • Prior experience working in Agile/Scrum development teams.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze requirements, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications to develop a comprehensive understanding of project goals.
  • Execute various test types, including functional, integration, system, regression, user acceptance, and compatibility testing across different platforms, browsers, and devices.
  • Assist QA Leads in creating detailed test plans, test cases, and scripts to support project deliverables and ensure comprehensive coverage.
  • Maintain clear and organized test documentation to facilitate repeatability, knowledge sharing, and process audits.
  • Identify, document, and prioritize issues discovered during testing phases, ensuring defects are logged with reproducible steps, supporting evidence, and impact assessments.
  • Track the defect lifecycle from identification to resolution, collaborating with developers and project teams to validate fixes and verify defect closure.
  • Provide regular feedback to project managers, business analysts, and partners regarding test progress, results, and potential risks.
  • Support root cause analysis efforts and contribute to process improvements aimed at reducing recurring issues and enhancing quality standards.
  • Participate actively in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
  • Partner with developers, UX designers, technical leads, and program managers to align on quality expectations and testing priorities.
  • Contribute to requirement and design discussions to ensure testability, clarity, and agreement on acceptance criteria.
  • Communicate complex technical and quality-related issues effectively to all stakeholders.
  • Assist in developing automated test cases and scenarios in collaboration with Automation Engineers to enhance testing efficiency.
  • Stay updated on the latest QA tools, methodologies, and industry best practices, including accessibility and automation standards.
  • Support accessibility and compliance testing efforts aligned with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing QA processes, efficiency, and quality of deliverables.
