Provider Directory Data Assurance Analyst

2. About the Opportunity:

The Provider Directory Data Assurance Analyst role is critical to maintaining the accuracy and integrity of provider data used by healthcare members. This position ensures that provider directories comply with regulatory standards and supports the organization’s compliance efforts. The role contributes by safeguarding data quality, which directly affects healthcare access and member trust.

3. Responsibilities:

• Audit and validate provider directory data for accuracy and regulatory compliance
• Identify, research, and resolve discrepancies in provider data
• Monitor updates and maintain data integrity across platforms
• Collaborate with network management, credentialing, and compliance teams for timely corrections
• Generate reports and track metrics on data quality
• Support CMS and state regulatory compliance for provider directory accuracy
• Document processes, findings, and corrective actions related to data assurance

4. Requirements:

• Experience in healthcare data management, provider relations, or related fields
• Knowledge of provider directory requirements and healthcare regulatory standards (CMS, DMHC, etc.)
• Proficiency with data analysis tools such as Excel or SQL
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Familiarity with managed care, IPA, or health plan operations preferred
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
