• Job Description
• We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with strong Data Migration experience to lead and manage end-to-end data migration initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record managing complex enterprise data migration projects, coordinating cross-functional teams, managing project timelines and risks, and ensuring successful migration with minimal business disruption.
• The Project Manager will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, data architects, application teams, vendors, and leadership to plan, execute, monitor, and deliver data migration activities.

• Key Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end data migration projects, from planning and assessment through migration, validation, cutover, and post-migration support.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, and resource plans.
• Coordinate with Data Migration, ETL, Data Architecture, Application, QA, Business, Infrastructure, and Production Support teams.
• Define migration scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and success criteria.
• Manage migration activities including data extraction, transformation, cleansing, mapping, validation, reconciliation, loading, and cutover.
• Coordinate multiple migration waves and ensure readiness for each migration cycle.
• Establish and track data migration milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, issues, and action items.
• Work with technical teams to monitor ETL/data migration development and testing progress.
• Coordinate SIT, UAT, mock migrations, dress rehearsals, production migration, and post-migration validation.
• Ensure data quality, completeness, accuracy, and reconciliation requirements are met before production cutover.
• Develop and manage cutover plans, rollback plans, migration runbooks, and contingency plans.
• Identify project risks and proactively develop mitigation and contingency strategies.
• Manage project scope and change requests while maintaining project timelines and budgets.
• Conduct regular project status meetings and provide weekly/monthly status reports to leadership and stakeholders.
• Facilitate communication between technical and business teams and resolve project-level blockers.
• Manage third-party vendors and offshore/onshore teams involved in migration activities.
• Ensure compliance with organizational security, privacy, governance, and data management standards.
• Track project financials, resource utilization, and overall project performance where applicable.
• Support production stabilization and transition activities following migration.

• Required Qualifications
• 8+ years of experience in IT Project Management, with significant experience managing Data Migration projects.
• Proven experience leading enterprise-scale data migration or application modernization initiatives.
• Strong understanding of the data migration lifecycle, including extraction, transformation, cleansing, mapping, validation, reconciliation, loading, and cutover.
• Experience managing multiple migration waves and complex dependencies.
• Experience coordinating technical teams including Data Engineers, ETL Developers, Data Architects, QA, Business Analysts, and Application teams.
• Strong experience with project planning, risk management, issue management, dependency tracking, and stakeholder management.
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid project methodologies.
• Strong communication, leadership, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with distributed onshore/offshore teams.
