- Position: Analyst, Project Management
- Location: Houston, Texas (with periodic travel to facilities in and near Freeport, Texas, as well as occasional travel to contractor, vendor, supplier, and fabrication locations)
- Summary:
- Our Client is seeking an experienced Analyst, Project Management to provide analytical, coordination, and administrative support to executive leadership and the Projects Group. This role supports capital project planning and execution through project reporting, performance tracking, governance coordination, process improvement, and stakeholder engagement. The successful candidate will work across multiple projects and collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, Procurement, Finance, HSE, contractors, and other key stakeholders to support successful project delivery.
- Job Duties:
- Project Management & Executive Support
- Provide direct project management and business support to executive leadership and project teams.
- Prepare executive reports, dashboards, presentations, briefing materials, meeting packages, and decision-support analyses.
- Conduct research, benchmarking, data gathering, and preliminary analyses supporting capital planning, business development initiatives, and special projects.
- Manage confidential and commercially sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
- Project Controls & Performance Reporting
- Collect, validate, analyze, and consolidate project data related to scope, cost, schedule, progress, risk, change management, procurement, staffing, and key performance indicators.
- Develop and maintain project trackers, action-item logs, decision logs, risk and opportunity registers, change logs, governance calendars, and project control records.
- Support development and maintenance of project schedules, cost forecasts, cash flow projections, estimates, staffing plans, and resource forecasts.
- Monitor project performance against approved baselines, identify trends and variances, and provide fact-based recommendations for corrective actions.
- Governance, Compliance & Process Improvement
- Coordinate recurring project reviews, stage-gate activities, risk reviews, contractor performance reviews, and leadership meetings.
- Prepare meeting agendas, materials, minutes, action items, and follow-up documentation.
- Support Management of Change (MOC) processes and project governance requirements through documentation tracking and closeout activities.
- Assist with the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of project execution processes, procedures, templates, governance requirements, and quality systems.
- Support regulatory compliance activities and documentation requirements.
- Document Control & Stakeholder Coordination
- Support project document control and information management activities, including organization, version control, completeness verification, and distribution of project records.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external contractors to obtain required information, resolve data gaps, and support delivery of project objectives.
- Assist with contract, purchase order, invoice, commitment, and change-order tracking in coordination with Procurement, Finance, Project Controls, and project leadership.
- Site Support
- Participate in site visits, field walkdowns, and data collection activities while adhering to all safety, security, and operational procedures.
- Support project activities within office and operating facility environments.
- Job Requirements:
- Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field preferred.
- Equivalent combinations of education and relevant experience will be considered.
- Experience
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in project management, project controls, engineering, construction, operations support, business analysis, or a related discipline.
- Candidates with up to ten (10) years of relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
- Experience supporting executive management teams within capital project environments is preferred.
- Prior involvement with brownfield and/or greenfield projects across planning, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, start-up, and closeout phases is highly desirable.
- Industry Experience
- Experience supporting capital projects within LNG, oil and gas, petrochemical, refining, energy, industrial manufacturing, or similarly regulated industries is preferred.
- Familiarity with operating-facility interfaces, Management of Change (MOC), stage-gate governance processes, and regulatory frameworks is advantageous.
- Knowledge of LNG facilities and industry regulations is considered a plus.

- Ability to prepare executive-level reports, dashboards, and presentations.
- Experience managing project documentation and performance reporting.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Proficiency with project tracking, reporting, scheduling, and business analysis tools.
- Certifications & Credentials
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Ability to travel periodically to project and facility locations.
- Work Environment
- Professional office environment with occasional work in or around operating industrial facilities.
- Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and comply with all safety, security, and site access requirements.
- Participation in company Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) programs is required.
- Promote a strong safety culture, including stop-work authority and proactive identification of hazards and corrective actions.

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust focus.
- Additionally:
- Ability to drive to various company locations as required.
- Ability to move throughout office and industrial facility environments and participate in field walkdowns.
- Ability to communicate effectively and hear during routine work activities.
- May occasionally be required to access elevated or confined-space areas in accordance with company procedures and job assignment requirements.
