Production Operations Analyst

Our client, a children's apparel brand, is seeking a Production Operations Analyst to join their team in New York!

Responsibilities:

  • Support sourcing activities, including vendor meetings and cost negotiations
  • Maintain financial tracking tools, including raw material costs, purchasing data, and expense records
  • Assist leadership by providing financial analysis to support pricing and operational decisions
  • Prepare reports related to sales forecasts, shipping, inventory, and production planning
  • Review invoices and expense reports, resolving discrepancies as needed
  • Partner with production teams and manufacturing vendors to help resolve operational issues
  • Audit and approve travel and expense submissions
  • Prepare, review, and reconcile product costing to ensure pricing accuracy

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • 1-3+ years experience in production, operations or finance
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP, SUMIF, and other data analysis functions
  • Detail-oriented with strong time-management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • ERP and PLM experience is a plus
