About the Role
A Product Analyst is needed for a science-driven health, wellness, and nutrition organization focused on building data-informed products, improving access to healthier solutions, and supporting better human health and longevity.
This role will oversee day-to-day visualizations, data validation, and stakeholder reporting to ensure leadership and cross-functional teams have fast, accurate insights from the data warehouse without unnecessary reporting bottlenecks.
The position will focus on product analytics, BI reporting, event-level data analysis, dashboard development, funnel analysis, retention reporting, tracking validation, and experimentation support across key product lines and user journeys. The environment is fast-moving and requires strong attention to accuracy, efficiency, and execution.
What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain product analytics dashboards and reporting across key user journeys, including onboarding, activation, conversion, and retention.
- Analyze event-level data to understand user behavior across Biomarkers and RX product lines.
- Define, QA, and monitor event tracking in partnership with engineering teams using tools such as Mixpanel or Amplitude.
- Translate raw event data into clean, analytics-ready datasets in Snowflake.
- Build and maintain product funnels, cohort analyses, and retention reporting.
- Identify drop-offs, friction points, and opportunities across the user lifecycle.
- Surface actionable insights on product performance, user engagement, and conversion drivers.
- Work directly with Product, Growth, and Data teams to align on metric definitions and tracking standards.
- Support A/B testing and product experimentation by measuring the impact of new features and product changes.
- Build clean, self-service dashboards in Sigma or similar BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.
- Document event definitions, data sources, and reporting logic to maintain consistency as data models evolve.
- Help ensure leadership has reliable, accurate, and timely reporting from the data warehouse.
Basic Qualifications
- 3–5 years of hands-on SQL experience working with large, event-level datasets.
- Strong experience with product analytics tools such as Mixpanel and/or Amplitude.
- Experience analyzing product funnels, user cohorts, and retention metrics.
- Comfort working with event schemas, including event names, user properties, timestamps, and sessionization.
- Experience with Snowflake, BigQuery, or a similar cloud data warehouse.
- Ability to validate event data across tools, including comparisons between a product analytics platform and a data warehouse.
- Strong understanding of product KPIs, including conversion rates, retention, engagement, and churn.
- Experience building dashboards in Sigma or similar BI tools.
- Strong attention to detail in data quality, tracking accuracy, and metric definitions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Segment or a similar customer data platform for event tracking pipelines.
- Familiarity with dbt, including the ability to read or test models.
- Experience working with subscription products or health-tech data, including testing platforms or prescription flows.
- Understanding of experimentation frameworks and A/B testing methodologies.
- Basic familiarity with GitHub or version control for analytics workflows.
Compensation: $90,000 - $130,000 per year
