Job Duties:
- Issue solicitations, including Requests for Proposals (RFPs). Analyze proposals and bids, and conduct cost and price analyses.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with federal, state, and city regulations, including the NYC Procurement Policy Board (PPB) rules. Prepare detailed reports on procurement status, metrics, and outcomes.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, providing expert advice on procurement strategies and procedures.
- Work closely with legal, finance, and program teams.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and a strong problem-solver. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Knowledge of government procurement rules, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Education and Experience:
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in procurement or a related field.
- Experience in a large, complex organization is preferred.
