You will play an important role in managing the end-to-end procurement process for our client, a leading corporation in the energy sector.

You will be responsible for the smooth operations related to requisitions, invoices, and overall P2P activities. This role will allow you to use your combined skills and experience with both transactional tasks and coordination, which will lead to the successful operation of the Procure to Pay cycle.

What you will be doing:

• Create and manage purchase requisitions, ensuring compliance with company policies and budgetary guidelines.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and translate them into actionable requisitions.
• Validate and process invoices, matching them with purchase orders and delivery receipts.
• Investigate discrepancies, resolve issues, and ensure timely payment to vendors.
• Work closely with procurement teams, accounts payable, department leads and other relevant departments to execute processes.
• Maintain coding/reference models for complex invoices.
• Support Automation and AI initiatives related to the P2P function.
• Provide administrative support for Digital project managers.
• Support month end financial activities (accruals for example).
• Collaborate with vendors to resolve issues related to orders, deliveries, and payments.
• Maintain positive relationships with key suppliers.
• Respond to stakeholder queries & provide relevant data and documentation (invoices, POs, Spend to date, rates etc.).

What We Are Looking For:

• 2-5 years’ experience in Procurement, Accounts Payable, or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain Management OR formal Finance/Accounting/Business, Administration Certification.
• Experience with ERP/Finance systems (JD Edwards and/or ePro).
• Proficiency with the Microsoft suite of products (Word, excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI etc.).
• Attention to detail and financial/accounting acumen (gained through experience or applicable certification/training).
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
