  • Schedule: Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
  • Duration: 9-Month contract - extensions possible
  • Pay Rate: $38-50/hr

  • We are seeking a Process Analyst to join a high-impact transformation team within Commercial Banking. This role will support strategic initiatives focused on Onboarding and Sales process optimization, helping improve how clients, partners, and internal teams navigate key banking processes.
  • You will work closely with business leaders, operations teams, and process owners to understand current workflows, identify improvement opportunities, and design more efficient future-state processes. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who combines strong business engagement skills with a passion for process improvement and banking operations.
  • We're looking for someone who is comfortable leading conversations, challenging existing processes, and translating complex business needs into clearly documented workflows and actionable recommendations.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of experience in process analysis, business process improvement, operational excellence, continuous improvement, or related disciplines.
  • Experience working within banking, financial services, lending, or commercial banking environments.
  • Understanding of end-to-end business processes and the ability to assess workflow impacts across multiple teams.
  • Experience facilitating stakeholder conversations, workshops, and requirements gathering sessions.
  • Strong process documentation and process mapping skills.
  • Proficiency with Visio, IBM BlueWorks Live, or similar process-mapping tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in commercial banking
  • Lean Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence, or related certifications.
  • Exposure to service design, target operating models, or cross-border processes.
  • Knowledge of lending lifecycle processes, including origination, underwriting, approval, booking, or portfolio management.
  • Treasury Payment Services (TPS) experience.

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Lead stakeholder interviews to understand current processes, pain points, and improvement opportunities.
  • Develop end-to-end process maps using Visio or IBM BlueWorks Live.
  • Support design of future state processes, service models, and operating models.
  • Facilitate workshops, ask probing questions, and uncover root causes.
  • Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities across:
  • Lending lifecycle (origination, underwriting, approval, booking)
  • Portfolio management and ongoing monitoring
  • Treasury Payment Services (TPS) cross-border operations
  • Prepare documentation and materials that support process redesign and change management.
  • Collaborate with senior process leads (Min in Toronto, Amber in Chicago/Naperville).
  • Partner across business and technology teams while maintaining a business-first mindset.
