Principal Data Engineer/Data Architect

Vertex Elite is currently seeking a qualified Principal Data Engineer/Data Architect to join our team.

• Location : Dallas, TX - Onsite

Required Qualifications:

• Senior-level experience designing and building production data pipelines on Azure — ADLS Gen2, Azure Data Factory, Azure Event Hubs
• Deep PostgreSQL expertise: schema design for high-volume transactional and analytical workloads, query performance tuning, indexing strategies, partitioning, and connection management
• Strong Kafka or Azure Event Hubs streaming experience: topic and partition design, consumer group management, offset handling, at-least-once and exactly-once delivery semantics
• Proficiency in Python and/or SQL for pipeline development and performance diagnostics
