Position Summary

• UTS is seeking a Predictive Analytics Lead Engineer to support the delivery of business objectives through engineering consulting, project management, predictive analytics, and technical support for our clients.
• This role offers an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated engineer to contribute to the management of critical assets by developing data-driven maintenance strategies, performing reliability analyses, and implementing digital asset management solutions across mining and industrial operations.

Responsibilities

• Ideal candidate will support our clients through projects involving:
• Asset Criticality Assessments
• Asset Management Gap Assessments
• Predictive Analytics and Asset Health Monitoring
• Data Mining, Cleansing, Validation, and Analysis
• Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA)
• Data visualizations.
• Development of predictive maintenance models and trend analysis
• AVEVA PRiSM Predictive Analytics
• Client training, workshops, and technical presentations

Preferred Technical Experience

• Experience with one or more of the following is highly desirable:
• Predictive Maintenance
• Condition Monitoring
• Statistical Analysis
• Machine Learning (preferred)
• Power BI or Tableau
• Python, SQL, or R
• Industrial IoT
• Reliability Engineering
• Equipment Failure Analysis
• KPI Dashboard Development
• Asset Performance Management
• Data Analytics

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering or technical discipline (Master's Preferred).
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in plant production environment.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in new plant setup.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a small consulting team
• Willingness to travel to client sites throughout the western United States

Preferred Qualifications

It will be beneficial if you have experience with:

• Production Plant
• Processing facilities
• Fixed plant maintenance
• Reliability engineering
• Digital transformation initiatives
• Project management
• Exposure to CMMS/EAM system (SAP PM / SAP S/4HANA MAXIMO)
• AVEVA PRiSM
• Asset Performance Management (APM) software
• CMRP, CRE, PMP OR Lean Six Sigma preferred.
