# Senior Business Intelligence Analyst

## About the Role

Mathematica, Inc. is seeking a **Senior Business Intelligence Analyst** to design and deliver scalable **Business Intelligence (BI) solutions** using **Power BI and Tableau**. This role combines business intelligence, data engineering, data modeling, ETL/ELT, and cloud technologies to transform complex business needs into production-ready analytics.

The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst will partner with the **Data Solutions team**, lead data modeling and ETL/ELT pipeline activities, collaborate with clients, and mentor teammates. The role is well suited to an experienced BI professional who can work across business and technical teams to deliver scalable, data-driven solutions.

## Key Responsibilities

• * Design and deliver scalable **Business Intelligence solutions** using Power BI and Tableau.
• * Translate complex business requirements into production-ready analytics and BI solutions.
• * Partner with the **Data Solutions team** to understand business needs and develop effective analytical solutions.
• * Lead **data modeling** activities to support scalable BI solutions.
• * Lead and contribute to **ETL/ELT pipelines** and related data engineering activities.
• * Apply cloud technologies and data engineering practices to BI solutions.
• * Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to deliver analytics aligned with business requirements.
• * Mentor teammates and contribute technical expertise across the BI and data solutions function.
• * Support the development and delivery of production-ready data and analytics solutions.

## Required Qualifications

• * Experience designing and delivering **Business Intelligence solutions**.
• * Strong experience with **Power BI and Tableau**.
• * Experience with **data modeling**.
• * Experience with **ETL/ELT pipelines** and data engineering.
• * Cloud experience relevant to data and BI solutions.
• * Ability to translate complex business needs into production-ready analytics.
• * Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with clients and cross-functional teams.
• * Ability to mentor and support teammates.
