Portfolio Analyst III - Retail Power

Own the numbers behind BKV Energy's retail power portfolio.

BKV Corporation (NYSE: BKV) is building a differentiated energy platform across upstream natural gas, carbon capture, power generation, and retail. We're hiring a Retail Power Portfolio Analyst III to own COGS reporting, portfolio performance analysis, and pricing insight for our Residential and Small Commercial retail book in ERCOT.

This is not a back-office reporting seat. You'll reconcile expected vs. actual cost and volume, flag the drivers behind variance, and put recommendations directly in front of Portfolio Management, Risk, and Commercial leadership. You'll build and sharpen the models that inform pricing, acquisition, retention, and hedging decisions in one of the most dynamic power markets in the country.

What you'll do:

• Own daily, weekly, and monthly COGS and cash-month P&L reporting for the retail book
• Build and maintain the analytical tools that drive pricing, risk, and portfolio decisions
• Reconcile expected vs. actual costs and volumes and communicate the story behind the numbers
• Translate weather, demand, supply, and regulatory signals into seasonal hedging recommendations
• Present findings to stakeholders across Portfolio Management, Risk, and Commercial

What you bring:

• 3+ years in wholesale or deregulated electricity, ERCOT strongly preferred
• Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, math, statistics, data science, or related field
• Advanced Excel plus Power BI, Python, and/or SQL
• A track record of turning messy, high-volume data into decisions people act on
