The Opportunity

As a CACI Mission & Engineering Plans, Policy and Futures Support Analyst, you will be instrumental in supporting the Joint Navigation Warfare Center (JNWC) and USSPACECOM J8. In the realm of strategic planning, you will contribute to organizational growth, capabilities analysis, modeling, science and technology oversight, resource integration, and warfighter capability assessment. Your efforts will be pivotal in ensuring that the JNWC and USSPACECOM J8 are equipped with the necessary tools and strategies to maintain superiority in Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) operations.

Responsibilities

In this pivotal role you will be engaged in policy and doctrine support. This involves researching, analyzing, and helping to develop national and military PNT strategies, doctrines, and policies. You will coordinate document reviews and staffing, ensuring that all materials are thoroughly vetted and aligned with current strategic goals. Furthermore, you will participate in exercises, war games, conferences, and interagency collaborations, providing valuable insights and fostering a cohesive approach to PNT strategy across different agencies and military branches. Your role will be critical in shaping the future of PNT capabilities and ensuring that the United States maintains a competitive edge in this vital domain.

You will be at the forefront of analyzing mid- to long-term PNT capabilities and technology needs, evaluating emerging solutions, and coordinating with PNT science and technology communities to support future strategy and capability gap identification. Your role will involve assisting in data collection, document development, technical writing, editing, and graphics creation to produce timely, standards-compliant PNT assessment reports. Additionally, you will shape and drive strategic communications policy and messaging to build JNWC’s brand, increase recognition, and promote integration into DoD plans and missions, ensuring alignment with interagency and alliance partners. You will also maintain professional contacts across DoD and allied organizations, document and distribute meeting notes, and support event logistics and travel coordination.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Security Clearance: Interim Secret Clearance with pathway to TS/SCI
  • Education: BA/BS in business, strategy, policy, national security, or another related field
  • Relevant Experience: 1–5 Yrs Relevant Experience
  • Competence in planning and policy
  • Understanding of PNT capability and technology

Desired

  • Senior Military Experience: Former Noncommissioned Officer or above in the U.S. Military
  • Higher Echelon Assignment: Experience supporting a 2-star command or below in planning efforts
  • Senior Military Education: Graduate of a military Intermediate Level Education (ILE) course (e.g., the Army Command and General Staff College) or a Joint Professional Military Education (JPME) course (e.g., Naval Command and Staff)
  • Advanced Military Education: Graduate of the School of Advanced Military Studies (SAMS) or a Joint War College preferred

Pay Range

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The Proposed Salary Range For This Position Is

$65,000 - $136,500
