About the Role
As the Physician & Clinician Compensation Analyst, you'll serve as a trusted advisor to physician leadership, Human Resources, Finance, Payroll, and Provider Recruitment. You'll analyze provider compensation plans, administer physician contracts, support compensation modeling, and ensure compliance with organizational policies while helping improve operational processes.
This position is ideal for professionals with a strong background in provider compensation, healthcare finance, physician contracting, or compensation analysis who enjoy working with complex data and collaborating across multiple departments.
What You'll Be Doing
Administer physician and clinician employment contracts and contract amendments.
Analyze physician compensation, productivity metrics, work RVUs, and FTE reporting.
Build compensation models, financial scenarios, and forecasting reports to support leadership decisions.
Interpret and apply provider compensation plans while ensuring compliance with organizational policies and legal guidelines.
Partner with physician leadership to resolve compensation questions and pay-related issues.
Collaborate with Recruiting regarding physician offers, contracts, and compensation recommendations.
Support salary benchmarking using healthcare compensation surveys and market data.
Prepare executive dashboards, reports, and presentations using advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
Participate in budgeting, accruals, payroll coordination, and financial variance analysis.
Identify process improvement opportunities and implement new workflows, auditing, and tracking solutions.
Serve as the liaison between Provider Compensation, Payroll, Benefits, Finance, and Medical Group leadership.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Human Resources, Statistics, or a related discipline.
Minimum 2 years of experience in:
Healthcare Compensation
Provider/Physician Compensation
Finance, Accounting, or HR Compensation
Physician Contract Administration
Experience working with physician or clinician compensation plans.
Knowledge of provider contracts and compensation methodologies.
Working knowledge of CMS Relative Value Units (RVUs) and CPT coding.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, financial analysis, reporting).
Strong analytical, mathematical, and data interpretation skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting physician payroll and leave of absence processes.
Healthcare provider contracting experience.
Knowledge of physician productivity reporting and compensation benchmarking.
Experience improving compensation workflows and reporting processes.
