- Pay Rate: $52–$57/hour
- Position Overview
- We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Payroll Service Delivery Analyst to support the Overseas Military Banking Program (OMBP). This role is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll for employees across multiple employment classifications, including payroll administration in both U.S. dollars and foreign currencies.
- The ideal candidate will possess strong payroll expertise, knowledge of payroll regulations, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced global environment. This position requires maintaining strict confidentiality while collaborating with employees, managers, and cross-functional teams across multiple time zones.
- Key Responsibilities
- Payroll Administration
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for employees across various employment classifications.
- Ensure accurate and timely payroll calculations, balancing, and transmission.
- Process payroll-related transactions, including:
- Hourly wages
- Overtime and premium pay
- Bonuses and incentives
- Reimbursements
- Payroll adjustments and credits
- Maintain and update employee payroll records, including compensation changes and promotions.
- Process new hires, transfers, promotions, and terminations accurately.
- Compliance & Tax Administration
- Ensure compliance with U.S. federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
- Process and maintain payroll tax filings, including:
- Forms 940 and 941 (U.S.)
- P45 and P60 (UK)
- Manage year-end payroll activities, including:
- W-2
- W-2c
- P60 reporting
- Process garnishments and other payroll deductions.
- Support employment verification and unemployment insurance requests.
- Payroll Reporting & Reconciliation
- Analyze and audit payroll data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Reconcile payroll transactions, including intercompany transactions.
- Prepare payroll and benefits-related journal entries.
- Generate recurring and ad hoc payroll, financial, and operational reports for management.
- Monitor payroll workflows and recommend process improvements.
- Employee Support
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to employee inquiries regarding:
- Payroll
- Compensation
- Taxes
- Timekeeping
- Leave requests
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies promptly.
- Educate employees and team members on payroll policies, procedures, and timekeeping practices.
- Process Improvement
- Develop and maintain payroll procedures and documentation.
- Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes, controls, and efficiencies.
- Partner with management to support payroll system enhancements and operational excellence initiatives.
- Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in payroll processing or payroll administration.
- Strong understanding of payroll principles, accounting fundamentals, and payroll best practices.
- Knowledge of U.S. federal and state payroll laws and regulations.
- Experience managing payroll transactions in a high-volume environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Self-motivated team player with the ability to work independently.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) or Certified Payroll Professional (CPP).
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now.
- Experience with ADP iHCM.
- Knowledge of UK payroll, employment regulations, and tax requirements.
- Experience supporting military personnel and overseas workforce populations.
- Exposure to Human Resources functions, including Benefits, Recruiting, and Employee Relations.
- Top Skills Required
- 3–5 years of payroll processing experience.
- Strong knowledge of payroll operations, accounting fundamentals, and payroll best practices.
- Knowledge of U.S. federal and state payroll regulations.
- Experience with payroll systems such as ADP (preferred).
- Strong analytical, auditing, and reporting capabilities.
