We're seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Payroll Analyst to join our Human Resources team at our downtown Greenville, SC headquarters. In this role, you'll report to the Manager, Payroll and Tax Compliance and play a key role in supporting end-to-end payroll operations, ensuring compliance, and driving continuous process improvements. • What You'll Do
• The Payroll Analyst supports the administration and execution of payroll operations using the SuccessFactors Payroll platform. You'll be responsible for ensuring payroll accuracy, maintaining data integrity, and supporting multi-state payroll tax compliance. Key responsibilities include:

• Payroll Processing & Administration
• Support the complete payroll cycle—collecting and reviewing time and attendance data, validating inputs, and processing payroll accurately and on time
• Review, enter, and maintain employee information, tax withholding details, and direct deposit data in SuccessFactors
• Validate payroll inputs for accuracy, including new hires, terminations, promotions, and pay adjustments
• Perform payroll audits and reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies

• Compliance & Reporting
• Maintain knowledge of applicable payroll laws, regulations, tax requirements, and reporting obligations
• Assist with payroll tax reporting, government filings, quarterly reporting, and year-end activities
• Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation to support compliance

• Data Management & Reporting
• Perform payroll data analysis to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security
• Generate and distribute payroll reports, including earnings statements and management reporting

• System Maintenance & Enhancements
• Collaborate with System Administrators and vendor support to resolve system issues and support enhancements
• Participate in testing and implementation of payroll system updates and new functionality
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies

• Collaboration & Stakeholder Support
• Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding payroll inquiries and issue resolution
• Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to reconcile payroll data with general ledger accounts
• Coordinate with payroll vendors and manage service level agreements for outsourced payroll functions

• What You'll Bring
• High school diploma or equivalent required; 2–3 years of proven experience as a payroll analyst or in a similar role
• Strong proficiency in multiple software applications; SuccessFactors Payroll experience a plus
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, calculations, and reporting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve payroll-related issues
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally at all levels
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential employee information with discretion
• Proactive, self-motivated mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic, high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Understanding of financial services and consumer financial operations preferred

Position Details:

• Location: Greenville, SC (Hybrid position)
• Position Type: Full-Time, Exempt
• Reports To: Manager, Payroll and Tax Compliance
• Travel: Up to 10% depending on business needs
