Lead day to day US payment operations (ACH, Wire, Cards, Checks) ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely settlements. Act as escalation point for clients and internal stakeholders while driving process improvements and team performance.
Responsibilities
• Manage daily payment processing, settlements, reconciliations, and exceptions
• Oversee cash positions, funding, and prefunding models
• Handle escalations, client queries, and operational issues
• Lead process, people, client, and stakeholder management
• Ensure compliance, audits, and strong control documentation
• Drive automation, RCA, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team
Qualifications
• 5+ years team handling experience in payment processing
• Strong knowledge of NACHA, Fedwire/CHIPS, SWIFT, and banking portals (EPP, ACH Plus, Payplus, etc.)
• Expertise in reconciliation, dispute handling, and settlement processes
• Excellent communication, client management, and leadership skills
• Analytical, forward thinking, and flexible to work across locations/shifts
