- Role : Payment Business Analyst (Travel Payments)
- Location : Dallas, TX (Amadeus Office)
- Working mode: Hybrid( 3 days from Amadeu office & two days from work from home)
- Key Responsibilities
- Payment Domain
- Manage and optimize payment processing systems for travel-related transactions.
- Design and implement secure payment solutions for airlines, hotels, OTAs, travel agencies, and travel technology platforms.
- Analyze and improve end-to-end payment flows, authorization, settlement, reconciliation, and reporting processes.
- Ensure compliance with payment industry regulations and security standards.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, payment providers, acquiring banks, and third-party vendors.
- Payment Processing & Settlement
- Strong understanding of:
- Card Payment Lifecycle (Authorization, Clearing, Settlement, Chargeback)
- Settlement Lifecycle
- Payment Reconciliation
- Refund Processing
- Disputes and Chargebacks
- Cross-border Payments
- Merchant Acquiring and Issuing Processes
- Virtual Card Solutions
- Payment Gateway Integrations
- Payment Standards & Messaging

- SWIFT MT and MX Messaging Standards

- SEPA (Single Euro Payments Area)

- International Payment and Settlement Mechanisms
- API & Integration
- Design, consume, and test APIs for payment integrations.
- Work with REST and SOAP web services.
- Handle message formats including:
- JSON
- XML
- Use tools such as:
- Postman
- Swagger/OpenAPI
- Technical & Data
- Perform payment transaction analysis and troubleshooting.
- Work with databases for querying and validating payment transactions.
- Support integration testing and UAT activities.
- Prepare technical documentation, API specifications, and solution designs.

- Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or related field.
- Payment certifications or banking domain certifications are a plus.
- Experience in the travel, airline, hospitality, or fintech industry preferred.
