Overview
- We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Systems Analyst to support and enhance critical business applications across manufacturing, supply chain, warehousing, and distribution operations. This individual will play a key role in aligning technology solutions with business objectives by partnering with operational teams, IT stakeholders, and external vendors.
- The successful candidate will combine strong business process expertise with deep systems knowledge, helping drive continuous improvement initiatives, system enhancements, integrations, testing activities, and user adoption across a complex operational environment.
- Key Responsibilities
- Business Analysis & Solution Design
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, workflows, and system needs.
- Translate operational requirements into functional specifications and solution designs.
- Evaluate existing processes and identify opportunities for automation and optimization.
- Recommend technology solutions that improve operational performance and reporting capabilities.
- Assess the impact of system changes and enhancements on business processes and downstream applications.
- Systems & Application Support
- Provide advanced support for operational systems across manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, and supply chain functions.
- Troubleshoot complex system and process issues that extend beyond standard user support capabilities.
- Collaborate with technical teams and third-party vendors to resolve application and integration challenges.
- Define and manage system modifications, enhancements, and change requests.
- Project Delivery & Implementation
- Participate in the full project lifecycle including analysis, design, testing, deployment, training, and post-go-live support.
- Lead and coordinate testing activities, including functional testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and process validation.
- Support system rollouts and implementation projects across regional and global business units.
- Monitor project timelines, deliverables, risks, and issue resolution activities.
- Prepare and communicate project updates to key stakeholders and management teams.
- User Engagement & Training
- Partner closely with business users to understand operational needs and ensure solutions meet business objectives.
- Facilitate workshops, system demonstrations, and process reviews.
- Develop user training materials, process documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
- Deliver end-user and Super User training through various learning formats.
- Support adoption and stabilization activities during Hypercare and post-implementation phases.
- Reporting & Analytics
- Utilize reporting and analytics tools to extract, analyze, and present business data.
- Develop operational reports and dashboards using approved reporting platforms.
- Support ad-hoc reporting requests and provide insights into system performance and business operations.
- Monitor trends and identify opportunities for improved efficiency and decision-making.
- Collaboration & Best Practice Leadership
- Promote knowledge sharing and collaboration across business functions and regions.
- Research and recommend industry best practices that can improve operational effectiveness.
- Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders on business process improvement and system optimization initiatives.
- Foster strong relationships with internal teams, system users, and project stakeholders.
Required Skills & Expertise
- Strong understanding of business processes within one or more of the following areas:

- Technical Skills
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations experience, particularly:
- Supply Chain Management (SCM)
- Advanced Warehouse Management (AWM)
- Experience supporting Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Understanding of Warehouse Control Systems (WCS)
- Experience managing ERP integrations and interfaces
- SQL querying and data analysis skills
- Experience with reporting and business intelligence tools such as:
- Power BI
- Business Objects
- D365 Reporting Tools
- Strong understanding of enterprise application architecture and system integration principles
- Problem Solving
- Ability to quickly identify business and technical issues.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Comfortable working with complex operational processes and data structures.
- Ability to develop practical solutions that balance business requirements and technical constraints.
- Leadership & Communication

- Experience leading workshops, user groups, and project meetings.

- Education
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will also be considered.
- Professional Experience
- Minimum 7 years' experience in a Business Systems Analyst, ERP Analyst, Functional Consultant, or similar role.
- Experience working directly within manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, supply chain, or production-focused environments.
- Proven background supporting enterprise operational systems and process improvement initiatives.
- Strong track record delivering successful technology projects in complex operational settings.
