Applicant Background:

The Operations & Analytics Manager is responsible for the operational oversight, data validation, reporting compilation, and assist in the cross-functional coordination of EBRS's programs and reinsurance. This role serves as the Business Operations owner of the data and reporting layer sitting between the data validation and quality processing team, Finance, Underwriting, and the Reinsurance department to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and integrity across all operational workflows.

The ideal candidate is highly analytical, operationally minded, and comfortable working across complex data flows, multiple stakeholders, and a fast-moving specialty insurance environment. This role also serves as a special projects resource for the COO and VP, Business Operations, supporting analytical initiatives, operational reviews, and cross-departmental reporting needs as they arise.

Key Responsibilities:

• · Program & Audit Support
• o Support operational due diligence for new and existing reinsurance and underwriting programs, including evaluation of data workflows, controls, reporting capabilities, and compliance readiness
• o Coordinate TPA audits, program audits, and internal control reviews from a Business Operations perspective, managing data collection, issue tracking, and remediation follow-through
• o Support regulatory examinations
• · Reporting & Analytics
• o Compile and distribute the monthly operations reporting package, including premium activity summaries and settlement status
• o Maintain operational scorecards tracking submission timeliness, data quality, and remediation status across program administrators
• o Develop and maintain dashboards, trackers, and recurring reporting templates supporting visibility for the COO, VP Business Operations, Finance, and Reinsurance leadership
• o Synthesize data from multiple sources into clear, executive-ready reporting outputs with minimal oversight
• · Program Oversight
• o Validate and reconcile MGA and reinsurance data outputs prior to distribution to Finance or reinsurers
• o Serve as the primary business operations lead for underwriting and operational systems, ensuring workflows, controls, and data structures support underwriting, finance, compliance, and reporting requirements.
• o Own operational system governance, including documentation, change management, testing coordination, and implementation of oversight.
• o Partner with IT, Underwriting, Finance, and external vendors to configure, enhance, and optimize core operating platforms, ensuring operational integrity and scalability.
• Special Projects
• · Support the COO and VP, Business Operations on cross-functional analytical projects, operational reviews, and strategic initiatives requiring data synthesis and operational depth
• · Assist with board and leadership reporting preparation, including compiling supporting data and drafting narrative summaries across Business Operations functions
• · Serve as a flexible analytical resource for Finance, Compliance, and Reinsurance on time-sensitive projects
• Skills & Qualifications:
• 5–7 years of experience in insurance or reinsurance operations, with strong exposure to program business, bordereaux management, and reinsurance data workflows
• Demonstrated ability to validate, reconcile, and synthesize complex data sets into clean reporting outputs
• Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with operational or financial systems
• Strong written communication skills with the ability to translate operational data into executive-ready summaries
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple concurrent workstreams with minimal oversight
• Comfortable operating in a fast-growing, PE-backed environment with evolving processes and competing priorities
