Mutual Funds Operations Analyst (Contract) | Toronto, ON

• Are you looking to grow your career in banking and financial operations? We are seeking a detail-oriented Mutual Funds Operations Analyst to join a collaborative and supportive team within a leading financial institution.
• 📍 Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid: 4 days in office, Fridays work from home)
• 📅 Contract Duration: August 2026 to February 2027 (extension and conversion opportunities available based on business needs and performance)
• ⏰ Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• 💲 Pay Rate: $30.64 - $31.08/hour + 4% vacation pay
• What You'll Do
• Process mutual fund trades and settlements.
• Investigate and resolve transaction discrepancies and breaks.
• Manage FundSERV transactions and money movements.
• Utilize advanced Excel tools, including formulas, pivot tables, and macros.
• Respond to operational inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
• Ensure adherence to compliance and regulatory requirements.
• What We're Looking For
• Must-Have Qualifications
• ✅ Banking or financial services experience (retail banking, mutual funds, or operations experience preferred)
• ✅ Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, macros)
• ✅ Strong Microsoft 365 proficiency (Excel, Outlook, Word)
• ✅ Ability to quickly learn new systems and technologies
• ✅ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• ✅ High attention to detail and accuracy in a compliance-driven environment
• ✅ Team player with a positive, adaptable attitude
• Nice-to-Have
• ⭐ Mutual fund trade settlement experience
• ⭐ IFIC License
