The Real Estate Operations Associate will gain broad, hands-on exposure across the real estate credit lifecycle, working closely with senior leadership from day one, and the role carries a significant growth path for a professional who wants to build a career surrounded by talented and kind individuals.
- Who You'll Work With
- This highly visible role sits within the firm's broader accounting and operations group and reports directly to the Controller. You will work cross-functionally with the servicing, accounting, underwriting, legal, business development, and investment teams, giving you a rare, panoramic view of how a real estate credit platform operates end to end.
- Key Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining the loan system and database for all loans, a resource relied upon by the entire firm.
- Process and support the full life cycle of loans, including recording transactional activity in the firm's loan servicing system. Enter, maintain, and cross-check indicative loan data to support real-time, dynamic portfolio management through the firm's business intelligence tools.
- Work with management to build and improve reporting through dashboards and other methods, and meet periodically with management to review results.
- Enhance and manage reporting requirements, including borrower and investor statements, loan tapes, lender covenant reporting, and institutional investor reporting, for internal and external stakeholders, and assist with related inquiries.
- Contribute to firmwide efforts to automate and enhance processes across the operating platform and support continuous improvement.

- Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in real estate or a related industry. Strong intangibles are valued more highly than exact experience!
