At Saint Paul University, your expertise is recognized, your contribution is visible, and your work will have a concrete impact. **Summary of Duties** Under the supervision of the Director of the Teaching and Learning Technologies Department, the incumbent creates the necessary tools for the clients of the Teaching and Learning Technologies Department (uoCampus, Brightspace, Zoom, and others) to align technological solutions with the University's operational objectives and needs. They analyze business operations and implement process improvements in support of multidisciplinary teams. **Main Duties** **Business and Process Analysis** - Thoroughly understand operational requirements to convert them into technical specifications that will facilitate the development of new subsystems that closely match client needs. - Facilitate collaborative needs analysis workshops to gather, clarify, and prioritize requirements associated with stakeholder requests (various University departments and faculties) regarding processes and information subsystems. - Inform decisions regarding the choice of new technological platforms to be deployed by providing analytical and technical expertise and ensuring maximum added value and alignment with institutional priorities. - Plan, prioritize, and execute information subsystem implementation activities and maintain effective communication with stakeholders. **Data and Reporting Management** - Extract data from various internal and external sources to prepare statistical and analytical reports in semantic form or synthetic, interactive dashboards that support decision-making. - Regularly review data from various information systems to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and errors. Analyze identified problems and their possible solutions. Implement required corrections. - Actively promote best practices in data security and confidentiality, ensuring their integration into processes and technological platforms. - Develop reporting structures and statistical methods for trend analysis and support the achievement of performance indicators. Verify the accuracy of data in various information systems such as uoCampus and Brightspace, which impact data on admissions, registration, registration reporting, and BIUs, so that official reporting is a faithful reflection of reality. **Testing** - Design and execute test scenarios and integration tests aimed at meeting operational and end-user needs, particularly by leveraging B.I. (Business Intelligence) modules. **Documentation** - Prepare technical reports and user guides to document system development and help users effectively utilize the implemented systems. - Maintain documents on application functionality and various tested transactions, recording information on different error levels; consolidate service requests, problem logs, and system improvements in successive versions for the operational sector. **Training and Support** - Train employees in the use of new systems or in following new procedures, whether through information capsules, physical documents, in-person or video training, or other appropriate means. - Provide expert advice to clients on system usage. Handle various special client requests, including data uploading or extraction and the management of specialized systems. **Security Services** - Investigate security breaches, recommend corrective measures, and implement necessary security measures to ensure data integrity. **Continuous Improvement and Change Management** - Monitor emerging technologies and contribute to the planning of continuous improvement initiatives for processes and information systems. - Implement change resulting from the improvement of existing systems or the implementation of new information subsystems. - Support the operations sector in implementing changes to existing procedures. **Essential Education, Knowledge, Experience, and Qualities** - University degree in computer science, management information systems, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience - At least three (3) years of experience in supporting the IT needs of operational units - Knowledge of Oracle PeopleSoft Campus Solutions - In-depth knowledge of the university environment, its governance, academic regulations and processes, and study programs - Knowledge of computer principles and understanding of operational processes and cycles - Knowledge of project management methods and practices - Knowledge of industry standards and best practices - Knowledge of accounting principles to be able to align operational needs with financial needs - Excellent understanding of structures, theories, principles, and practices related to databases - Knowledge of computer security and access principles and best practices - Analytical skills to convert operational requirements into technical specifications - Ability to lead the work of multidisciplinary teams in designing a data model - Advanced interpersonal skills to be able to ask the right questions, interact with employees at different levels, and deliver training in the most appropriate way - Organizational skills to be able to prioritize work and meet numerous strict deadlines - Ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms - Proactive ability to follow technological evolution - Bilingualism – French and English (written and spoken) **Interested candidates are invited to submit their application online at [www.ustpaul.ca](https://workforcenow.adp.com//www.ustpaul.ca) by October 2, 2026, at 11:59 p.m.** _We thank all those who apply.
