Potential Data Center Management Scope:

The customer currently has one remaining data center in Ann Arbor and is planning to transition to the cloud over the next two years. Their goal is to allow their internal team to focus primarily on the build side while we take over the day-to-day management of their physical and virtual infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

This opportunity expand beyond the individual technician requirement to include ongoing management of the customer's remaining Ann Arbor data center. In addition to the requirement, the opportunity includes a broader Data Center Management component including:

• Physical and virtual infrastructure management
• Data center operations and day-to-day support
• HVAC and environmental systems coordination/monitoring
• Cabling and related infrastructure
• Infrastructure monitoring and operational support
• Coordination of data center activities during the customer's transition to cloud
• Other operational components associated with the physical data center environment

Must-to-Have:

• 5-8 years of experience with Data Center day-to-day operations and support
• Hands-on experience with Physical and Virtual Infrastructure
• Good understanding with HVAC and cooling/environmental systems
• Strong experience with Rack, Stack, Cabling and Infrastructure
