- The MEP Project Manager leads all Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection scopes from preconstruction through final completion. This role oversees subcontractors, drives coordination, and ensures quality, schedule, and compliance across mission-critical data center projects.

- Description
- Review mechanical bid tabs and Exhibit B contract documents
- Interview, select, and manage MEP subcontractors
- Oversee day-to-day MEP subcontractor performance and coordination
- Review and approve MEP change orders and requisitions
- Conduct site walks to verify progress and maintain schedule alignment
- Coordinate closely with BIM/VDC teams and field leadership
- Review all MEP submittals and track long-lead equipment
- Manage inspection, testing, and commissioning documentation
- Oversee MEP and fire protection contractors and commissioning agents
- Coordinate with owner's third-party consultants and testing agencies
- Manage project closeout including as-builts, O&Ms, and attic stock
- Lead multi-trade coordination across disciplines
- Maintain equipment delivery logs and procurement schedules
- Attend owner, subcontractor, and coordination meetings
- Secure approvals and sign-offs from AHJs
- Support tenant fit-outs where applicable
- Develop and complete punch lists and work lists
- Coordinate with utility providers for project requirements
- Lead life safety inspection readiness and execution
- Ensure drawing coordination across trades

- Profile
- A successful MEP Project Manager should have:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection, or related field
- 10+ years of MEP systems experience
- 5+ years of project management experience
- Proven experience on ground-up data center projects
- Strong understanding of BIM/VDC coordination and clash detection tools
- Knowledge of ASHRAE, NEC, NFPA, and LEED standards
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
- Familiarity with local and state building codes
- Expertise in testing, balancing, and commissioning practices
- Strong communication skills across all project stakeholders
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Ability to make timely, accurate decisions
- Willingness to travel full-time
