Akkodis is seeking a Change Specialist (BOM Analyst) for our Contract role with our client in Auburn Hills, MI

Pay Range: $20/hr. to $23/hr. on w2. (The pay may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)

Job Description:

The Change Specialist is part of a team responsible for the Engineering Change Management processes and systems. The team is responsible for the optimization and coordination of Engineering Change Management across multiple regions and industrial functions, responsible for reviewing all Engineering Change Documents for clarity and completeness, facilitating the Engineering Change Management meetings.

The Change Specialist is considered a subject matter expert who provides technical guidance, training, organization, process, and system knowledge to engineering and other global industrial functions. The Change Specialist is responsible for the use of all appropriate Change Management documentation and is the “go to” person when addressing issues pertaining to the engineering records.

This position requires a high level of communication and leadership competency.

Using expertise in Engineering Change Management, the selected candidate’s responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• · Troubleshooting operational issues
• · Educating global users on Change Management processes and systems
• · Improving the systems through benchmarking and the study of current practices
• · Assisting with project communication

A successful candidate is a self-starter with a passion for innovation; comfortable working in a global setting; experienced in documenting business & system requirements; and demonstrated ability to lead a cross-functional team toward a common solution.

Basic Qualifications:

• · Bachelor’s degree or equivalent automotive work experience
• · Excellent relationship building skills
• · Ability to present ideas and concepts successfully to all levels of management
• · Ability to productively manage change
• · Tool Experience (such as): MS 365/Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Access, SharePoint, Qlik Suite, etc.
• · Engineering Process Experience (such as): Bill of Material and Engineering Change Management
• · Clear, concise, accurate communication skills both verbal and written in the English language
• · Ability to communicate and present to all levels of Management
• · Ability to lead peers and suppliers to achieve goals.
• · Must work during USA Eastern Standard and Daylight Savings Time business hours
• · Good internet and phone services to effectively work remotely from home or office location

Preferred Qualifications:

• · Aptitude for understanding IT system design, data structures, and data security
• · Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Data Engineering, or Data Science experience
