Marketing Performance Analyst (Digital Analytics)
We are seeking candidates for a Marketing Performance Analyst (Digital Analytics) position with a leading healthcare organization located in New York, NY. This position will support the Marketing & Communications team by driving website analytics, search engine optimization (SEO), campaign measurement, and location management across the organization's primary web properties. This individual will play a key role in ensuring continuity of digital reporting, optimizing marketing performance, and providing actionable insights that support strategic decision-making.
This is 6-month contract position that will pay $55-60/hr (depending on experience) within a 40-hour workweek. All qualified candidates who are 100% Remote located on the East Coast will be considered.
Responsibilities
- Develop quarterly marketing performance reports that translate complex data into meaningful insights for internal stakeholders.
- Partner with marketing and communications teams to measure and communicate the impact of campaigns across digital channels.
- Compile campaign metrics, project summaries, and performance data to demonstrate the effectiveness of Marketing & Communications initiatives.
- Build and maintain quarterly reporting webpages, supporting email communications, and Tableau dashboards.
- Coordinate the reporting approval process to ensure timely and accurate distribution.
- Monitor website performance across multiple web properties, proactively identifying trends, issues, optimization opportunities, and key successes.
- Configure and maintain custom event tracking, UTM parameters, and campaign measurement standards to ensure accurate data collection.
- Train internal teams on analytics platforms, campaign tracking best practices, and UTM creation.
- Deliver recurring reporting, ad hoc analysis, and actionable recommendations to support content strategy and campaign optimization.
- Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards to visualize marketing performance and patient journey analytics.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of marketing data flowing from multiple databases to support reporting and analysis.
- Utilize data visualization to communicate campaign performance, identify areas for improvement, and support patient journey mapping initiatives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure marketing data is accessible, actionable, and supports daily business decisions.
- Establish consistent campaign tracking standards across teams to ensure reliable performance measurement.
- Serve as the internal subject matter expert for campaign tracking, measurement standards, and analytics best practices.
- Improve organic search visibility through keyword research, search ranking analysis, schema optimization, and ongoing SEO initiatives.
- Maintain a strong SEO foundation by ensuring web content is structured for maximum discoverability.
- Support AI search optimization efforts (AEO/GEO) by contributing relevant content and insights to enterprise AI platforms.
- Administer and maintain SEO platforms and tools.
- Manage location listings across digital platforms by maintaining accurate business information, resolving duplicate listings, fixing broken links, and ensuring naming consistency.
- Support location optimization initiatives, including listing governance and license management.
- Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 5+ years of experience in web analytics, digital marketing analytics, campaign reporting, and SEO.
- 1–2+ years of experience with Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), or optimizing content for AI-powered search experiences (e.g., Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Claude).
- Experience working within healthcare, agency, or other highly regulated environments is preferred but not required.
- Proficiency with web analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Piwik.
- Experience using SEO platforms such as SEMrush.
- Familiarity with Yext or similar location and reputation management tools.
- Experience with data visualization platforms such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into clear, actionable business insights.
- Solid understanding of UTM parameters, campaign tracking methodologies, and digital reporting best practices.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and consistently meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
