Position Overview

We are seeking a Marketing Analytics Analyst (Junior to Mid-Level) to support ongoing analytics operations, reporting, and performance tracking for marketing initiatives and agency management. This role will focus on data preparation, recurring reporting, analytical validation, and test analysis, with an emphasis on producing actionable insights and ensuring data integrity across multiple data sources.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting & Data Management

  • Prepare and deliver weekly marketing performance reports, including:
  • Data cleaning and validation
  • Data organization and structuring
  • Audit checks for accuracy and completeness
  • Summary insights and key takeaways
  • Build and maintain repeatable reporting processes and templates
  • Data Validation & Reconciliation
  • Conduct data comparisons between agency reporting and internal data sources
  • Identify discrepancies and determine root causes
  • Provide documentation and recommendations to improve alignment and reporting accuracy

Marketing Test Tracking & Analysis

  • Track and maintain a centralized log of marketing tests (A/B and multivariate)
  • Analyze test results, including:
  • Performance lift evaluation
  • Directional statistical insights
  • Business impact assessment
  • Summarize findings and recommendations for stakeholders
  • Monthly Performance Analysis

Develop monthly performance review reports covering:

  • Channel and campaign performance
  • Business outcomes such as leads, conversions, and revenue indicators
  • Test learnings and optimization opportunities
  • Deliver actionable insights and recommendations to leadership
  • Scorecard & KPI Tracking
  • Maintain and update marketing performance scorecards
  • Monitor KPIs against targets and historical benchmarks
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement

Ad Hoc Analysis

  • Support leadership and marketing teams with quick-turn analytical requests
  • Translate business questions into structured analysis
  • Deliver clear, insight-driven recommendations

Deliverables

  • Weekly reporting packages including validated datasets and performance insights
  • Monthly performance review reports and presentations
  • Marketing test tracking logs and analysis summaries
  • KPI scorecards and performance dashboards
  • Ad hoc analytical reports as needed

Required Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Business, Marketing, Economics, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field

Experience

2–5 years of experience in:

  • Marketing Analytics
  • Business Intelligence
  • Consulting, Finance, or related analytical roles
  • Technical Skills

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including:

  • Pivot Tables
  • Power Query
  • XLOOKUP / INDEX-MATCH
  • SUMIFS and advanced formulas
  • Data cleansing and transformation
  • Large dataset management
  • Experience building:
  • Automated reporting frameworks
  • Recurring dashboards and performance scorecards
  • Analytical Skills
  • Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis abilities
  • Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently

Communication Skills
