firstPRO360 is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Support Analyst for a permanent position with a Construction company in Sandy Springs, GA. The ideal candidate is someone who understands how manufacturing works (BOMs, Routings, Item Masters, and Production Planning), more than someone who can configure ERP systems or write code---this is NOT an I.T. position.

  • Hybrid schedule, most likely remote down the road. Candidate MUST be based in GA.
  • Travel required- 1 week per month to plants

Summary:

The Manufacturing Operations Support Analyst is responsible for maintaining manufacturing and product master data within the PeopleSoft Oracle system to support accurate production planning, scheduling, and execution. This role owns Items, Bills of Material (BOMs), Routings, and related planning data, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment across multiple manufacturing plants. Partnering with Operations, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, IT, Finance, and Customer Service, the Manufacturing Systems Analyst drives data integrity, supports user training, identifies process improvements, and helps standardize manufacturing processes across the organization.

  • Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Maintain the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of manufacturing and product master data within the PeopleSoft Oracle ERP system.
  • Own the lifecycle management of Item and Product master records, including creation, updates, and inactivation.
  • Serve as the primary owner of manufacturing master data, including Items, Bills of Material (BOMs), Routings, and planning parameters across multiple plants.
  • Develop, document, and maintain standardized processes and SOPs for ERP data management, ensuring consistency across manufacturing locations.
  • Perform regular audits of ERP and manufacturing data to identify discrepancies, improve data quality, and support accurate production planning.
  • Manage routing data to ensure work centers, production times, and planning parameters accurately reflect manufacturing capabilities.
  • Analyze routing and planning data to identify trends, improve operational efficiency, reduce downtime, and optimize capacity utilization.
  • Support the implementation and ongoing optimization of Advanced Planning & Scheduling (APS) software.
  • Partner with Operations, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, IT, Finance, Customer Service, and other cross-functional teams to support manufacturing data needs and continuous process improvement.
  • Support CRM quoting and BOM/Routing creation for new and existing products.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements and automation to enhance data accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
